Fully booked! How to write about art?

Writing seminar with Aina Villanger
Thursday 04.06.20
Aina Villager

Do you work with text in the cultural industries and need ideas and input, are you an artist who sometimes has to put words to their own art or do you want to express yourself more freely in the public art debate? Then this writing course with poet and author Aina Villanger is for you!

About the seminar

This seminar is for anyone who wants to gain insight into the art of cross-disciplinary writing in nearly any text genre; shorter texts and social media, Haiku poems, essays, articles and more. The course is meant for an adult audience with a desire to immerse themselves in art and express themselves through text.

The writing course includes four weekly webinar sessions - an online seminar on the digital platform ZOOM, which participants can download free of charge, as well as individual tutorials per video or email. In the webinars, participants will read and discuss texts, as well as conduct writing exercises in dialogue with Aina Villanger.

As part of the writing art course, Villanger offers individual follow-ups with up to two feedbacks and comments on longer text works that participants are working on.

The writing art course consists of a total of 8 hours of instruction spread over four sessions, plus two individual feedback rounds and guidance on a longer text work.

The course accommodates 8 participants. The course fee is NOK 850.
