What are your opening hours?
The exhibition Actions of Art and Solidarity is open to the public from Wednesday, January 20th between 11 AM - 5 PM. Regular opening hours are Tuesday-Sunday, 11 AM - 5 PM.
Kunstnernes Hus Cinema and the restaurant Lofthus Samvirkelag are temporarily closed as a consequence of the governmental regulations in connection with Covid-19. We look forward to be welcoming you back again soon and will keep you updated on our website and social media.
How much does a visit cost?
An entrance ticket to our exhibition costs 100 NOK for adults and 50 NOK for students. Free admission for artists (members of NBK, UKS, FFF, NK or SDS), members of Kunstnernes Hus and everyone under the age of 18.
Can I book a guided tour?
All guided tours are cancelled for the time being due to restrictions in connection with COVID-19.
Is there a cloakroom?
Yes, the cloakroom is located right by the restrooms downstairs.
Can I book a table at the restaurant?
Unfortunately, the restaurant Lofthus Samvirkelag is temporarily closed.
Are exhibitions accessible with a wheelchair?
All the spaces on the ground floor and in the exhibition halls are accessible for wheelchairs. The wheelchair entrance is located at the back of the building by the elevator, where there is a buzzer.
Kunstnernes Hus Cinema has space for a wheelchair in front of the first seat row. Tickets may be purchased on our ticketing website. After purchasing a ticket, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org so we can save a spot. Those accompanying visitors in wheelchairs get free entrance into the exhibition and the cinema.
Do I have access with a stroller?
Yes, you may take a stroller into the exhibition halls. The elevator entrance is located at the back of the building from where you can notify the receptionist.
Can I bring my dog?
Only guide dogs are allowed at Kunstnernes Hus.
Can we visit with a larger group?
Large groups of people are welcome at Kunstnernes Hus. Send an email to email@example.com to keep us informed.
Are there venues for hire?
Can I exhibited my art at KH?
At Kunstnernes Hus we generally only have curated exhibitions. If you wish to submit your work, you can apply to the Annual Autumn Exhibition organized by Norske Billedkunstnere.
Can I screen my movie at KH?
Our cinema program is curated by a program council in collaboration with the program director. If you have input, send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Are you between the ages of 13 and 18 and do you produce films yourself or would like to join our LEO Film Club for Youth? Send an email to: email@example.com.
Do you evaluate works of art?
Unfortunately we do not evaluate works of art or signatures. We recommend contacting an auction house instead.
