Vega, Cinemateket and KH Cinema

Newer films of high artistic quality rarely get the wide cinema distribution they deserve. Cinemateket i Oslo, Vega Scene and Kunstnernes Hus Kino have joined forces to raise public awareness of niche cinemas and film as a medium of artistic expression. All three screening locations have curated programs, with the artistic value of films being an important premise for their selection.

Several times a year, we collaboratively import films that are not shown elsewhere in Norway and present them on the big screen. Previous screenings include Paul Schrader's First Reformed, Claire Denis' High Life, Joanna Hogg's The Souvenir and Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardennes' Young Ahmed. Creating great experiences for Oslo's film enthusiasts is what we are passionate about!
