About
"This is a conversation with Jumana Manna, visual artist and filmmaker, who was raised in Jerusalem and is now living in Berlin. We first met when we both attended the Art Academy in Oslo in 2004, but we first started working together on her film Wild Relatives in 2017, where I worked as cinematographer. Jumana mainly works with sculpture and film, and in recent years has had solo exhibitions at, among others, the Berkley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archives, Hollybush Gardens in London and the Museum of Contemporary Art Antwerp. Her films have been shown at Berlinale, Tate Modern in London, Rotterdam Film Festival, and other places.
If you're in New York in the near future, check out her new exhibition at MoMa PS1, called Break, Take, Erase, Tally. On view from September 2022 to April 2023, it displays nearly 20 works, including a series of sculptures, and her two latest films Wild Relatives and Foragers."

Jumana's latest film, Foragers, will be shown on 14 October 2022 at Kunstnernes Hus Kino. Jumana will be present at the screening, and there will be a discussion after the film.
