On Friday 24 May, we have the pleasure of inviting you to the opening of this year's summer exhibitions: Do You Hear That Whistling Sound? by Maia Urstad and Weaving Voices by Pearla Pigao.
Ahead of the opening, Ahmed Umar's Minigraph will be launched, and the artist will be awarded the Art Critics Award 2023 by the Norwegian Critics Association.
Program
16:30-17:30 The Art Critics Prize 2023 is awarded to Ahmed Umar. Book launch of Umar's Minigraph with the option to purchase a signed edition.
19:00 Opening of the summer exhibitions with Maia Urstad and Pearla Pigao
19:15-19:35 Collective listening event in Do You Hear That Whistling Sound?
19:35-19:45 Performance with dancers Fredrik Petrov and Natanya Helena Kjølås in Weaving Voices
From 21:00 DJs Twin Set in the foyer
22:00 The exhibitions close. The house is open until 01.
James Richards' exhibition Our Friends in the Audience is also open on the lower floor from 14:00-22:00.
