Riso-workshop

With João Doria de Souza
Joao Doria

Welcome to a riso workshop in collaboration with artist and graphic designer João Doria de Souza - a unique opportunity to delve into the rich and diverse archive of Kunstnernes Hus, equipped with scissors and glue and a risographic duplicator!

During the workshop, we will create collages with material from the house's historical archive. Participants will have the opportunity to explore a multitude of golden-edged finds and events from back in history, and to give them new life with the help of the riso duplicator's vibrant pigments and seductive textures. Doria de Souza will begin the workshop by presenting his own artistic and professional practice.

In the next few years Kunstnernes Hus will undergo an extensive rehabilitation, and we have a desire to convey knowledge about the House and its significance for almost a hundred years.

The workshop is for anyone interested in expressing themselves visually and creatively and learning about risography. You do not need to have any prior knowledge of risography. The event will be held in English.

Materials are included in the price. We will serve coffee and tea.
