Public seminar: "Klima for kritikk"

The world is constantly changing, theories about the world are constantly changing, and artworks explore unknown climates. Norsk kritikerlag invites you to this public seminar which will discuss the climate crisis' consequences for art criticism. Free of charge and open to everyone!

The seminar will be divided into two parts:

About the participants
Susanne Christensen (1969) is an author and critic. She writes for Klassekampen, Morgenbladet, Kunstkritikk, LIAF - Lofoten International Art Festival and has been a columnist for Vagant since 2010.
Randi Nygård (1977) is a visual artist working with the interdisciplinary project Ensayos.
Sigurd Tenningen (1982) is an author, critic and editor in the journal Vagant.
Ingrid Halland (1988) is an art historian, critic and associate professor at the Department of Art and Media studies at NTNU.
NO Form Lab is a writing collective consisting of young critics and art historians associated with the Department of Philosophy, Classics, History of Art and Ideas at the University of Oslo. The collective will be holding ten brief presentations under the seminar. Participants: Tiril Sofie Erdal, Liv Gunhild Fallberg, Vera Maria Gjermundsen, Eirik Zeiner-Henriksen, Martine Hoff Jensen, Ulrikke Johansen, Emma Christine Karlsen, Sigrid Stenerud Steien, Lena Trydal og Siri Katinka Valdez.
"Klima for kritikk" is organized by the art section of the Norsk kritikerlag. The event is kindly supported by Norsk kulturråd and Fritt Ord.
