Putting our exhibitions in a new light

To meet the desire for both better light and a less visible light rig, the lighting system in the upper exhibition has been upgraded. The clean lines of the building's architecture have served as the starting point for the idea that the lighting equipment should take up as little space as possible. At the same time, it will take care of a number of functions, the most important of which is: To put our exhibitions in the right light.

More about the lighting system

From a technical point of view, it is challenging to illuminate a wall evenly from 7 meters above the ground and at a 2 meter distance. In the exhibition halls, this challenge has been met by installing a specifically designed L-profile along the edge of the skylight opening, with an integrated busbar for spot lights and linear lighting.

The spot lights with their oval light distribution provide a versatile use of the exhibition rooms. The power rail has been reused from the previous lighting system and provides the opportunity for flexible spot lighting that can be directed towards both sides or into the room. The characteristic arc between wall and ceiling is illuminated by a soft light to emphasize its curved shape.
