Per Palle Storm

10.06.95 – 30.07.95
Per Palle Storm Jun Jul1995

Kunstnernes Hus is pleased to be able to present a side of Per Palle Storm's art that has not been well known to the general public. We would like to thank the board and the Ingeborg and Per Palle Storm endowment for the cooperation and trust they have shown us. Per Palle Storm wanted his estate to be realized and transferred to an endowment that will benefit Norwegian sculptors. There will therefore be a sale of the exhibited material at the exhibition.

Per Palle Storm was a central figure in Norwegian art life. With his vast knowledge and tireless insistence on the high demands that must be made of an artist, he played a significant role as a professor of sculpture at the Norwegian Academy of Fine Arts. The fact that his work in its various forms of expression and his clearly stated ideas about art are still so full of answered and unanswered questions is the reason why this exhibition is an input into the debate, more than a summary of a significant life's work.
