The exhibition was in honor and memory of Otto Johansen who died the previous year (15/08/1934).

Otto Emil Johansen was a visual artist, painter and graphic artist. He was inspired by French artists such as Henri Matisse and Paul Cézanne. Johansen worked colouristically, with a touch of silky smooth brushstrokes.
