Aurora Passero
In the foyer of Kunstnernes Hus, visual artist Aurora Passero presented the new work Affections. The work consists of hand-woven and dyed nylon and steel tubes.
About the artist
Aurora Passero (1984) lives and works in Oslo, Norway. She has studied at the Glasgow School of Art and the Oslo Academy of Arts where she completed a master's degree in 2011. Recent solo exhibitions include Crystal Set, Galleri Haaken; Silvery Actions, Vigeland Museum; Affections, Kunstnernes Hus Foyer; Liquid Territory, Force; Ivory Tactics, Kunstnerforbundet and Warrior Gloss, Gallery Soft.
Selected group exhibitions include Ode to a Washcloth, Hymn to a Tiger, Kunsthall Stavanger and Kunstnerforbundet; NNA-NNA-NNA, Stavanger Art Museum and Astrup Fearnley Museum; Europe, Europe, Astrup Fearnley Museum; Tusen Tråder, Lillehammer Art Museum; Norwegian Sculpture Biennale, Vigeland Museum; 24 Spaces/ 1857, Malmö Konsthall; In Tråd Med Tiden, Haugar Vestfold Art Museum and Glasgow International Festival of Visual Art.
She has completed several public art projects, including for Jotun HQ, Sandefjord, (2022), Danderyd Hospital, Stockholm (2020), Stortinget, Oslo, (2019) and the Norwegian Embassy in Rome, (2012).
