Welcome to the launch of the book Lyset i flatene. I arkivet etter Harriet Backer. (The light in the surfaces. In the archives of Harriet Backer). The launch will take place on Thursday, June 10 in Atelier Felix at Kunstnernes Hus.

Together with art historian Hilde Mørch, the authors of the book, artist Hedevig Anker and art historian Nina Mauno Schjønsby, will talk about Harriet Backer in her role as an artist and educator. They will also address the process of communicating the life and work of a culturally important figure in an open and personal way.

The launch lasts from 6.30 PM to 7 PM. It is fully booked, but the authors will be present at the house for informal conversations between 7 PM-8.30 PM. Guests will have the opportunity to buy the book at a discounted price.
