Open riso workshop

During this spring and autumn we hold an open riso workshop and creative hang out on the first Monday of each month. This is for those of you who want to learn more about and explore the magical possibilities of the riso technique. In addition to the monthly open workshop, we will also offer riso workshops in collaboration with various artists over the next three years.
Tickets are only refunded in the case of cancelled events. Here you can find our terms of sale.
Entrance at the back of the building.

What is risography
Risography is an environmental-friendly and sustainable graphic printing method performed with a digital stencil duplicator, characterized by bright colors. These colors are printed layer by layer, and can be reminiscent of screen printing or offset, but the ink is based on soybeans or rice and biodegradable. The Riso machine uses little electricity, as unlike other laser printers it does not need to heat up. Risography is a cost-effective method, which can produce quality prints without major financial burdens. Unlike toner-based printers, Riso printers are free from ozone emissions, toner particle emissions, silica dust and other air pollutants. Riso printers do not emit greenhouse gases.
Thanks to Sparebankstiftelsen DNB for making the project possible.
