See the award-winning and critically acclaimed film The Brutalist at Kunstnernes Hus. Director Brady Corbet (known for Vox Lux) returns with a new work, co-written with Mona Fastvold - an American epic about a Jewish-Hungarian architect, played by Adrien Brody, who flees Europe at the end of World War II to build a new life in an unfamiliar land.

The brilliant architect László Toth (Adrien Brody) travels from Hungary to America shortly after World War II. His hope is to find work and later reunite with his wife, Erzsébet (Felicity Jones), from whom he was separated during the war. A wealthy businessman offers fortune on what appears to be a silver platter when he desires a modern monument under László's design.
