When “Saving Kunstnernes Hus” was not included in the 2026 national budget, the sense of loss was palpable. For Vanessa Baird, it exploded into a spontaneous drawing—growing into multiple works and ultimately a mural.

A house in tears. Ghosts swirling. An alter ego with a head explosion.
A selection of works can be seen at Kunstnernes Hus through the spring. Some will later be offered for sale in support of the building’s rehabilitation.
