Oslo's first independent cinema, dedicated to emphasising artistic boldness and genre-bending formats.
Are you curious about contemporary art and film? Would you like to meet other young people with similar interests? Join our film club, art club or one of our guided tours! On this page we have gathered all the offerings for teenagers and young adults at Kunstnernes Hus.
LEO Youth Film Club
LEO Film Club screens specially picked films once a month for young people between the ages of 13 and 18. The films are selected by a program council consisting of young people who are themselves affiliated with the club. We aim to put together a large selection of new films with a high artistic value that are rarely screened at other Norwegian cinemas.
On Saturdays and Thursday afternoons you can meet Marzia, Iris, Anastacia, Ferdinand and Mateo at Kunstnernes Hus. They are our youth mediators and "Blikkåpnerne" ("eye-openers"). Blikkåpnerne Oslo consists of a total of fifteen young people from fifteen districts in Oslo who have got part-time jobs at Astrup Fearnley Museum, the National Museum and Kunstnernes Hus. Their task is to convey art to young people and other visitors based on their own experiences and interests.
Plot/Oslo is a free art club for young people between the ages of 15 and 25 who want to learn more about contemporary art. As a member of Plot/Oslo, you get to join guided tours, meet artists in their studios, participate in workshops and many other cool activities. Plot/Oslo is a collaboration between the Astrup Fearnley Museum, the National Museum, Kunstnernes Hus and the young people themselves.
