Finn Nielssen

Finn Nielssen's exhibition at Kunstnernes Hus in 1950 contained paintings with motifs from places like Oslo, France and Central America. He traveled often and took inspiration from the places he went and the people he met. He became acquaintance with, among others, the Mexican artist Diego Rivera and the Bauhaus teacher Johannes Itten. At Kunstnernes hus, he exhibited a total of 70 paintings.

Nielssen was a Norwegian painter and art critic. He painted southern beach scenes in bright summery colors, as well as larger decorative works. Nielssen also published a book about Henrik Sørensen.
