In the summer of 1941, Kunstnernes Hus had an exhibition with Einar Berger. The exhibition consisted of 137 paintings painted by the artist. Most of the paintings he exhibited illustrated sea, storm and wild nature inspired by scenes form northern Norway. Some paintings had more serious motifs such as fishermen's funerals and mortuaries.
