Born in Copenhagen on 30 March 1882 of Norwegian parents. Pupil of Statens Håndverks and Kunstindustriskole in Oslo and of Zahrtmann in Copenhagen 19-04-1905. Debuted at the National Art Exhibition 1906. Study trips to Paris 1910 and 1919. Has held a number of separate exhibitions in Oslo and in Copenhagen 1913. Participated in the Jubileumsutstillingen 1914, the World Exhibition in San Francisco, the Norwegian exhibition in Riga, the National Gallery's retrospective exhibition 1940, as well as a number of year at the National Art Exhibition. Represented in the National Gallery with "Augustdag" 1910, oil painting, and in Stavanger permanent gallery with painting.
