Bachelor Avgangsutstilling 2012 will be the first time a graduating class exhibits at Kunstnernes Hus, which originally housed the academy in its time with professor studios at the back until the end of the 90s. The Academy of Fine Arts in Oslo has since then been invisibly linked to the House. This year's cohort moves home and fills with awe the halls on the first floor, in addition to what was once the academy's sculpture hall and also the early beginnings of the library. One generous gesture often leads to another. The graduation exhibition strives to show the House from its best side: forward with light, open doors and room for the young art side by side with established figures that are shown in the skylight hall at the top.
