About the workshop
Filmmaker Mariken Halle and artist Herman Breda Enkerud will guide you through this workshop, where we’ll work with scissors, markers, glue, and a risograph printer. Perhaps you’d like to create a poster for a short film, or for a project you’re hoping to realize? For a forgotten film, or one that ought to exist? Or maybe you’re simply interested in experimenting with risograph printing? Either way, you’re very welcome.
No prior experience is required, and all course materials are included in the price.
Halle and Enkerud have collaborated on a range of different projects in recent years. They will introduce their respective artistic practices and talk about how they have worked together to create posters and develop strategies for film launches. After the introduction, we will make film posters by hand and print them using a risograph printer. We will also discuss imagery and poster design.
