This year’s honorary award will also be handed out this evening by Oslo Open’s board! The purpose of this award is to honor someone who has made a very special contribution to the artists’ work situation - for the studio, production or working conditions. The prize winner could be an individual, a group or an organization. This year’s award winner will be announced on April 22.

Lofthus will keep the bar open until midnight.

The event is a collaboration between Oslo Open and Kunstnernes Hus.

The art weekend Oslo Open takes place from April 23-24, 2022. For one weekend a year, 400 artists invite you into their studio. Here you get a unique chance to experience an otherwise closed off space where art is being created. Meet professional artists from the fields of visual art and contemporary crafts across the city, and even in your own neighbourhood.
