Artists Per Teljer and Jannicke Låker both attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Trondheim in the 1990s, an academy that at that time placed great emphasis on time-based media. They were both active in the young, Scandinavian art scene characterized by slacker art: an immediate and unpretentious art form in which humor, noise and energy were important elements. Tunet is their first collaboration in over twenty years. The film was shown together with a selection of older works by both artists at Kunstnernes Hus Cinema in January 2020.
