Art and activism
How can art further develop the language of protest? How free are we as artists? Are we limited by definitions such as artist or activist?
We gather around the long table in Jannik Abel's exhibition Back to the Land to have a dialogue about art and activism. You are invited to sit around the table and create this conversation with us. The conversation will be held in Norwegian.
P.S. you won't regret wearing thick socks.
Included in the exhibition ticket which you purchase at the reception. Free entry for members.

About Back to the Table
Back to the Table is a social-relational dialogue program that consists of six gatherings around the table in the skylight hall at Kunstnernes Hus. Artists from different art fields meet around an eight metre long table, made by Jannik Abel with recycled materials from many different art projects and art institutions.
The conversations take place in Abel's exhibition Back to the Land, and there in the middle of the art we will talk together. In this time our collective forces must be gathered.
