Welcome to the opening of the Breton Cassette exhibition in Mellomrommet and the first edition of the Breton Matinee!

This Sunday, there will be a launch of and listening to Voicing a Choreography of Echo - a documentary sound work by Clara Sindal Mosconi. Runhild Hundeide shares from her upcoming release on Breton Cassette and Silje Iversen Kristiansens Stemmebånd can be heard in a sound shower.

About the project

Breton Cassette is a small, artist-run initiative that operates in the free field and serves as an independent alternative vantage point for sound projects and publications.

Every Sunday in the period 13 February to 20 March, the initiative arranges Breton Matiné - a program series where the performative aspects of the cassette projects are shown through readings, concerts, listening sessions, film screenings and music videos.

Breton Cassette is run by musician and artist Pernille Meidell.
