As the isolation, the forces of nature, and their alcohol consumption of alcohol gradually make their mark on them, both begin to lose grip on reality.

About the director

Robert Eggers (b. 1983) is an American film director, screen writer and production designer. Eggers started his career as a designer and director for several theatre productions in New York, before he turned to working in film. He is best known for direction the well-received horror film The Witch (2015).
