The Future Futures Talk Show – Through the Lens

How can art institutions use video to reach new audiences? Over the past year, three Nordic youth advisory boards have explored power, representation, and storytelling in film and video. The result is The Future Futures Talk Show: Through the Lens – a series of experimental conversations between artists, experts, and young people.
Welcome to the Norwegian premiere at Kunstnernes Hus featuring a panel discussion with PRAKSIS Teen Advisory Board and light refreshments!
This event is free and open to all.

Om The Future Futures Network
From 2023 to 2026, Index (Stockholm) and PUBLICS (Helsinki) are collaborating on Reaching Out, a project exploring how institutions communicate with the public. Each year, the youth boards examine established institutional practices while gaining new experiences, giving feedback, and developing their own working methods. In 2024, the focus was on video and film – from vlogs and advertisements to video guides, artworks, and more. The boards have worked with artists, engaged with institutions, and developed their own responses to the question: How should art institutions use video and film to connect with people?
