SIRAT STILLS 14

See Oliver Laxe's hypnotic masterpiece at Kunstnernes Hus Cinema. Sirat won the Jury Prize at Cannes 2025 and 5 European Film Awards. The film is an audiovisual odyssey into Morocco's rave culture where the search for a missing daughter becomes a psychological journey between heaven and hell.

About the film

A father and his son arrive at a rave deep in the mountains of Morocco. They're searching for Marina, who vanished months ago at one of these endless parties. Surrounded by electronic music and a raw sense of freedom, they follow the rave crowds deeper into the desert—while hope of finding her gradually fades. The title refers to the Islamic concept of the narrow bridge between heaven and hell, where the slightest misstep can have fatal consequences.
