After a long period of isolation, Antonin, a young man suffering from persisting exhaustion, rediscovers the world at a rehabilitation center for birds. In this strange place wounded birds and lost souls cohabit, lulled by the ubiquitous sounds of airplanes.
About the filmmakers
Maya Kosa (b. 1985) and Sergio da Costa (b. 1984) both have a degree in cinema from the Haute École d’art et de design (HEAD) in Geneva. Together they directed the short films The Engineer and the Prosthetist (2010) and Aux Bains de la reine (2012). Their first feature documentary Rio Corgo (2015) premiered at the film festival in Berlin in 2016.
