Annette tells the story of the comedian Henry (Adam Driver) and the internationally famous singer Ann (Marion Cotillard). In the spotlight, they are the perfect couple; happy and glamorous. When their daughter Annette is born, a child with a very special gift, their lives change forever.
Annette both opened the Cannes Film Festival and won the award for Best Director and Best Music.
Adam Driver is a deranged force of nature in Carax’s mind-blowing musical fantasia.
