8 Points For a Successful Studio Visit
"'But... you are so old!' were the first words a curator said to me when he opened the door to the studio." List for Doing a Studio Visit is a handprinted work by Lotte Konow Lund, which is now sold exclusively at Kunstnernes Hus. The income goes to the renovation of the house ahead of the 100th anniversary in 2030.
The artwork is based on feedback from a survey Lund sent out to several established artists of all ages. Based on their answers, she developed a list to ensure the best possible outcome for a studio visit for both the artist and the visiting party.
The work was first shown during the Autumn Exhibition in 2023. The work was in two parts, with the second part consisting of a text published in the exhibition catalogue. You can read the text (in Norwegian) here.
The Autumn Exhibition - Høstutstillingen is arranged annually by the Association of Norwegian Visual Artists at Kunstnernes Hus.
