Roberto Minervini retrospective

Roberto Minervini (b. 1970) is an Italian director, screenwriter, photographer and music producer based in the US. His films are visionary depictions of marginalized lives in the Southern United States. By choosing current political themes, Minervini focuses on the class-divided United States, racism, homelessness and lost childhoods. We put focus on the filmmaker by screening four of his films as a prelude to the upcoming election in the US, including the prize-winning Texas-trilogy - presented in Norway for the first time ever.
