Renewed support for KH venneskoler
We are very happy and grateful for Sparebankstiftelsen DNB's generous support for the continuation of KH Venneskoler. The project gives students in secondary school valuable encounters with contemporary art, through visits to our exhibitions and artist visits to schools.

Kunstnernes Hus Venneskoler will lay the foundations for a deeper insight into and interest in contemporary art and knowledge of local artistry. The project follows secondary school students from grades 8-10. class and is carried out in collaboration with Uranienborg, Ruseløkka and Morellbakken secondary schools, as well as visual artists Ahmed Umar, Marit Silsand and Cecilia Jiménez Ojeda. Venneskoler is a part of the Sparebankstiftelsen's investment in the Art program, and is now in its third year of the project. Throughout secondary school, pupils will visit Kunstnernes Hus once a year and get to know selected exhibitions through guided tours and workshops, in addition to an annual visit from an artist at the school.
