Ida Kierulf takes on a new role

Over the years, Ida has made a lasting impact on the artistic program at Kunstnernes Hus. She has curated and co-curated solo exhibitions with artists including Ahmed Umar, Hanne Tyrmi, Jon Gundersen and Elise Storsveen, Frida Orupabo and Arthur Jafa, Kjell Varvin, Maia Urstad, Marianne Heier, Steinar Haga Kristensen, Stein Rønning, Victor Lind, Siri Aurdal and Eline Mugaas, as well as group exhibitions such as Seeable/Sayable and Subjektiv. She has also run the film series SILVER SERIES, presenting retrospective screenings by internationally acclaimed artists such as Camille Henrot, Pierre Huyghe and Johan Grimonprez at Kunstnernes Hus Cinema.

We are deeply grateful for everything Ida has contributed to Kunstnernes Hus, and delighted that she will now be joining Henie Onstad Kunstsenter – an important sister institution that has played a central role in shaping Norway’s modern art history and in creating connections between the local and the international. We wish her all the very best in her new role as she takes up the position in September 2026!
