Our daily operations depend on a well-functioning elevator that makes all the building’s floors accessible to our visitors, staff, and exhibition technicians. Kunstnernes Hus was built in 1930, when universal design unfortunately did not top the list of priorities. This inadequate condition is a fundamental reason why we need support to carry out the building's rehabilitation. Central to this undertaking is adapting this unique building to what it is meant to be: an accessible house for everyone!
