Søren Steen-Johnsen

Søren Steen-Johnsen exhibited at Kunstnernes Hus in 1951. The exhibition consisted of 88 paintings by the artist. Steen-Johnsen was known for his fair color and landscape motifs. In the exhibition at Kunstnernes hus you could see many winter motifs, often from Oslo. Throughout his career, he worked with, among others, Henrik Sørensen, and was for a period taught by Per Krohg in Paris. His medium was mostly painting, but he has also worked on other projects, such as wall decor.
