About the course
In this course, children will meet visual artists Mari Meen Halsøy and Annika Simonsson and learn about wool through creative work, inspired by Cecilia Vicuña’s exhibition Minga for the Sea. The children will explore the many possibilities of wool using different techniques, with room for personal expression. Over the course of two days, the children will be taken on an adventurous journey through the history of wool and its connections to nature, art, and Indigenous traditions in both Norway and Chile. Everyone is included and seen, and children will have the opportunity to make new friends through collaboration and play over the two days.
