Oslo Open, Huset and Juret are opening their doors and inviting you to a party with the presentation of Oslo Open's honorary award, music by DJ ASDFGHJKL and a great atmosphere. We will also announce this year's artist acquired by the workplace art collection Kunst på arbeidsplassen. Welcome!

About Oslo Open

438 professional visual artists and craft artists are this year opening the doors to their studios. During Oslo Open you can visit artists in their workspaces – and it is free and open to everyone. Plan your own route or join a guided tour. The artists are spread across the entire city, and you will find some of them here at Huset.

This year you can visit studios all across Oslo; from Romsås to Røa, and from Sørkedalen to Holmlia. Because so many artists are participating, the event is split in two: on Saturday, 127 artists open their studios west of the Akerselva river, while 311 artists east of the river open on Sunday. During Oslo Open 2026 you can, among other things, climb up to the studios at the top of Oslo City Hall, take a day trip to the artists on Hovedøya, or visit Munch's winter studio at Ekely.

Accessibility

It is possible to park at the back of Kunstnernes Hus. Please ask for a parking pass at the reception.

The wheelchair entrance is through the elevator on the back of the building. To access the elevator use the buzzer to the reception by the door. All the common areas on the first and second floor are suitable for wheelchair users.

Guide dogs are allowed inside Kunstnernes Hus.
