Anima Overdrive
"Deliver, deliver, deliver, deliver, I'm your delivery delivery, I'm your delivery delivery delivery, I'm your delivery delivery delivery ... " raps the 'delivery anti-heroine' in a battered quarterback outfit alone in a kind of basement storage room. The ubiquitous delivery services from Amazon to Gorillas to Zalando are only partly the point here. Her performance 'delivers' the sound of a rebellious exhaustion in a world increasingly dominated by algorithms and AI in the service of a turbo-accelerated platform capitalism in which everything threatens to become a commodity: labor, bodies, feelings, movement patterns, facial expressions .... and all of us breathless suppliers. The film plays with the form of a music video and the reference to the genre of 'underground rap', whose representatives do not belong to the commercial mainstream canon and, in contrast to this, often distinguish themselves through socially conscious, sometimes queer, or feminist forms and texts.

About the artists
Stefan Panhans & Andrea Winkler are an artist duo founded in 2017. In exploring everyday phenomena, their transdisciplinary and experimental films and videoinstallations undertake a kind of mental archaeology of contemporary media and habitats and their effects on our minds and bodies, our social relationships, and our relationship to nature and the environment. The focus is on phenomena of post-industrial immaterial labor, the effects and feedback loops that an increasing hypermediatization and digitalization of our lifeworld, as well as the ever more pressing demands for performance-oriented self-optimization at work, as well as in private life, has on our fragile identities, our social behavior, our bodily sensibilities, and our sense of self. They both live and work in Berlin, Hamburg and elsewhere.
