Cinema - 85 guests
The auditorium (113 m2) is perfect for seminars, meetings, lectures and high-quality film screenings. It is also possible to live stream an event. The room was completed in November 2016 and designed by Atelier Oslo, the architects behind the new Deichman main library in Bjørvika. This is an excellent multipurpose room boasting a fully fledged cinema with 4K projector (with zoom lens) and surround sound.
Atelier Felix - 40 guests
Atelier Felix opened in 2015 and is a popular space for talks, book launches and group and children activities. The name “Felix” comes from the winning proposal of the architects who designed Kunstnernes Hus in 1928. Felix also means joy, thus two important aspects of the workshop space are alluded to: its historical roots and the joy of art. The renovation of the space was designed by Superunion Architects and funded by a generous donation from Sparebankstiftelsen DNB.
