Cinema - capacity 85
The auditorium (113 m2) is perfect for seminars, meetings, lectures and high-quality film screenings. The room was completed in November 2016 and designed by Atelier Oslo, the architects behind the new Deichmanske Library in Bjørvika. This is an excellent multipurpose room boasting a fully fledged cinema with 4K projector (with zoom lens) and surround sound.
The cinema can currently only be booked for groups up to 27 people due to the government's regulations regarding infection control.
Atelier Felix - capacity 40
Atelier Felix opened in 2015 and is the space we most often use for talks as well as group and children’s activities. The name “Felix” comes from the winning proposal of the architects who designed Kunstnernes Hus in 1928. Felix means joy and so, therefore, two important aspects of the new workshop space are alluded to: historical roots and joy of art. The renovation of the space was designed by Superunion Architects and funded by a generous donation from Sparebankstiftelsen DNB.
Direksjons rommet - capacity 10 eple
Direksjonsrommet (27 m²) is located between the exhibition spaces on the upper floor. With a lovely view over the Palace's gardens and comfortable furniture, this space is perfectly suited for meetings or receptions. We offer a wide range of options in terms of furniture or technical equipment required.
