About the project
Blikkåpner Oslo is a collaboration between the National Museum, the Astrup Fearnley Museum and Kunstnernes Hus, where we focus on art mediation by and for young people. The Blikkåpner ("eye openers") use their own experiences and interests as a starting point for communicating art to others.
The program is inspired by Blikopeners at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, and is part of a larger collaboration between several art institutions in Eastern Norway. The project is financed with generous support from Sparebankstiftelsen DNB.

Who we are looking for
We are looking for young people with an open mind, a desire to make art available to others and to share their thoughts and feelings.
As a Blikkåpner, your aim will be to reach out to other young people by organising events and creating exciting content. We are looking for motivated and committed applicants, who have a desire to mediate art. You do not need any previous experience to apply. The age requirement is 16-19 years.
The work is paid and you will work part time for around 4 hours a week over the course of a year. Combining the job with school is no problem!
