Niels Munk Plum

03.07.20 – 07.07.20

Trying to unlearn what you already know is one of the hardest things to do - how do you change your ways, and how can you not trust the ground on which you have always been standing?

SPONTAN RELIEF is an attempt to create without knowing, but for caring - the plan is set to fail, the system is meant to break and the symbols are unloaded openings. Carry on, through a landscape that you haven’t seen before, which anyhow feels strangely familiar.

With the use of mixed media the exhibition space is turned into an assembly of images, words, documents on a time past – but also on a time coming. A narrative is existing across appearance in the objects’ belonging together – in a flux of thought but also of action, physically mending each others’ limited ideas.

Opening hours

Friday 03.07. 18:00-22:00
Sunday 05.07. 12:00-16:00
Monday 06.06. By appointment only
Tuesday 07.07. 13:00-17:00

SPONTAN RELIEF is a solo-exhibition by Niels Munk Plum in his studio space in Atelier 2 at the FKDS-studios on the backside of Kunstnernes Hus, Oslo. NMP has been working here for a year with the help of a studio grant and will pass it on by the end of the month.
